Pakistan will face South Africa in Group-2 of Super-12 of T20I World Cup 2022. This match will be played on 3rd October at Sydney Cricket Ground.

Before the match, the Pakistan team has suffered a major setback. Mohammad Haris has been included in the squad in place of injured middle-order batsman Fakhar Zaman. The Pakistan Cricket Board has taken this decision due to Fakhar’s right knee injury.

Today Pakistan will play a do or die match with South Africa. If Pakistan loses today, they will be out of the semi-final race.

With this South Africa will reach the semi-finals. Fakhar’s injury resurfaced while playing against the Netherlands.
