Before 1973 the day of 24th April was just like any other warmer days for Indians. The summer season just started and people are ready to come out in their shorts and T-shirts. So a very common day not only for the Indians but also for the World. Came the day 24th April 1973, everything changed, the God was born. A human being with the most humanitarian values was born. The curly-haired baby was deemed to become the God of Cricket and rule the game of gentleman for years to come. The name of that boy was kept as Sachin Tendulkar and after that the meaning of name changed altogether. Now we are in 2020 and the name Sachin Tendulkar shines as the brightest star in the Sky of Cricket World.

When Sachin was in his childhood, he was a very naughty child and even his parents have to take complaints from the people of society. At that time he did not even thought of becoming a cricketer. Naughtiness was his favorite game back then. But a lot changed on the day 25th June 1983. The 10-year old boy saw his game taking its glory in India for the very first time when Kapil Dev’s men surprisingly defeated West Indies in the World Cup finals. There started the dream of the greatest cricketer ever to take this glory upon his hands. The impact was such that he left all his childhood and naughtiness behind and started focusing on the game. His father Ramesh Tendulkar gave him the full support to pursue to dream of his son and the country.

He left his home and started putting up with his uncle as his home was nearer to his Cricket Academy, and there the Arjun met his Dronacharya in the name of Ramakant Achrekar, the man who along with his father Ramesh Tendulkar were the torchbearers of his success story as termed by the legend himself.

In 15th November 1989, the dream took it first flight when Sachin made his debut against Pakistan in Pakistan against the likes of Wasim Akram, Waqar Younus and Abdul Kadir. The most feared attack of World at that time. Although he failed at that time but those of 4 Sixes of Abdul Kadir in an exhibition match showed that the best is about to begin.

Although Tendulkar took approximately 3 years to reach his 1st International Century but after that very rapidly he was the most firing cylinder of the Indian Cricket and thus became the captain in 1997, captaincy the only thing which was not as great as his career as Indian Cricket saw its all-time low when tjere were reports of match-fixing under his reign. Although Tendulkar was unaware about these happenings but he left Captaincy after that and vowed to focus only on his batting.

From Perth to Cape Town, Sharjah to Sydney, it was Tendulkar who stood tall in all the conditions and became the World’s best batsman. Apart from his batting, his Sportsmanship, politeness and the calmness in the worst situations in and out of the field made him the God of Cricket. Set an example for all the cricketers to not only score and contribute but also maintain the spirit of the game and keep the respect of the game above all.

Even one can see him smiling and going back to the pavilion even his got wrong adjudged by the on-field umpire. Tendulkar played most of his career when there was no DRS (Decision Review System) and he had became the victim of wrong decisions the record 48 times. Any batsman who gets wrongly adjudged either stare at the umpire, throws the bat and all but only this man was the one who smiled. Imagine how those 48 not outs have impacted his run-meter.
