The Indian team won the first Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia by an innings and 132 runs in just three days. Let us tell you that with this victory, India has taken a 1-0 lead in the series.

The Australian team flopped in front of the Indian spinners, where apart from young spinner Todd Murphy, no one could do much in bowling.

So right there, Indian spinners Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin dominated. After winning the first match, an interview of captain Rohit Sharma and Ashwin is becoming increasingly viral, in which both are seen talking to each other about the pitch.

In fact, the Australian media had started a pitch battle even before the first Test match played in Nagpur, but the Indian team has slapped the Kangaroo team by scoring a mountain-like score on the same pitch.

Let us tell you that India won the first Test match by an innings and a huge margin of 132 runs. In this episode, after the match, captain Rohit Sharma and R Ashwin had a special conversation on the field. During this, they discussed each other’s performance.

Along with this, Ashwin, while targeting Australia, questioned Rohit that at this time the most discussion on social media is about the pitch. Especially from the visiting team. When you were batting or playing, didn’t any ball spin and go to silly point. Indian batsmen should not be seen in trouble. What is its secret? Did you play well or were we playing on some other pitch?

Captain Rohit Sharma started laughing on hearing this question and while answering he said,

“Even I don’t understand whether it was the same pitch on which they played. We talked in the changing room that winning matches is not based on the pitch but on the batsmen and bowlers. I could not understand why there is so much discussion on the pitch. The sad thing is that there is no discussion on the talent of the players.”
