One of the factors influencing the tour schedule is the Lanka Premier League (LPL), which is scheduled to conclude on August 9.
Given the timing, it appears more practical for the proposed T20I series to be played after the Test matches rather than before them. This arrangement would allow players participating in the LPL to complete their franchise commitments before joining the national setup.
Sri Lanka Cricket is reportedly working through the logistical details and evaluating the most suitable window for the white-ball leg of the tour.
