The first match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy is being played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur where Indian captain Rohit Sharma (120) scored a brilliant century on a difficult pitch.

The Hitman’s bat thundered against the host bowlers, due to which he was in the limelight. Another video of Hitman has gone viral on social media in which he is seen calling opposition player Steve Smith mad.

Actually, this incident happened when Rohit and Ravindra Jadeja were batting together. The Hitman had completed his century and was in a mood to score big. Meanwhile, a ball in the 76th over went to Steve Smith and here Rohit stole a run. Ravindra Jadeja wanted a second run, so he called the Hitman.

Rohit reacted after hearing Jadeja’s call and refused to take the run. Here his voice was captured in the stump mic. Rohit told Jadeja that ‘Ye pagal hai thoda, rehne de’.

Rohit’s words were meant for Steve Smith, as he knew that if Smith got a chance to run out Jadeja or him, he would not hesitate to try at all. Smith is a good fielder, Rohit is well aware of this fact. This is the reason why he forbade Jadeja to take the second run.

Let us tell you that while Smith is said to be one of the best fielders in the world, on the second day of the Nagpur Test, he looked very loose, there he dropped two catches.

Hitman scored 120 runs, while Ravindra Jadeja (66) and Akshar Patel (52) scored 50 not out till the end of the second day’s play. The Indian team is now ahead of Australia by 144 runs. India’s score has reached 321 runs at the loss of 7 wickets.
