Actually, after the Nagpur Test between India and Australia (IND vs AUS), both the teams will reach New Delhi to play the second Test match. The second test will start from January 17, while there is a break of about a week in the third test.
The third match of the series is to be held in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, but in the meantime the Test match may be snatched from Dharamshala. In fact, the stadium was undergoing renovation work for the last few months, due to which new grass was laid in the ground and new drainage system was also made.
In such a situation, the BCCI believes that the stadium has been renovated recently. In such a situation, it can take a long time to play on this ground. Let us tell you that the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium is a very beautiful stadium.
So far only one international test match has been played at this ground. In the Bord-Gavaskar Trophy 2016-17 season, India won the match played here in just 4 days.
