Rohit Sharma said after the toss, ‘We have to forcefully make a change in the playing 11. Chahal took a dive in the last match and is yet to fully recover. That’s why Kuldeep Yadav has been included in his place.’

After some time, the official Twitter handle of BCCI also confirmed Chahal’s exit. The BCCI tweeted, ‘Yuzvendra Chahal is not available for the second ODI due to swelling in the right shoulder.’
