It is safe to call them as the greatest batsmen of this era as they’ve been very consistent across all formats of the game for a long period of time. However Who will be the future fab four? Who are the current talented batsmen could be the next fab four? Aakash Chopra had his say on the future fab four, as he recently uploaded a video where he spoke about 4 such youngsters Who will be the future fab four? in his opinion.

Aakash Chopra said that Steve Smith and Virat Kohli are 31 and Kane Williamson and Joe Root are 30 and hence after 5 or 6 years, there might be a new fab four. His first pick was KL Rahul. He felt that KL Rahul is already one of the best India’s players in ODIs and T20Is. He then picked Babar Azam and also mentioned the fact that Babar is already a contender to be a fab four-member despite being just 25.

He also said that he’s been Pakistan’s best player for quite a while now and he is all set to become one of the best batsmen in the world. “In fact, many people are already putting him in the current fab four despite him being just 25, that’s how good Babar is” he added. His third pick was Marnus Labuschagne from Australia. “Labuschagne reminds me a lot of Steve Smith,” said Chopra as he felt that Marnus has been one of the best Test batsmen in the last 12-15 months, and is only going to get better with time.

Aakash Chopra’s fourth and last pic was Ollie Pope from England. The former Indian opener felt that Ollie Pope was very talented. Chopra also felt that Ollie Pope plays a lot like Ian Bell and for the matter of fact, reminds him of Ian Bell. He also mentioned the fact that Pope already averages above 40 in Test cricket and it is only a matter of fact until he starts playing all formats of the game. Thus KL Rahul, Babar Azam, Marnus Labuschagne was Aakash Chopra’s pick for the future fab four. He felt that these four players could be the next fab four of cricket.
