Former Indian cricket team opener Murali Vijay has announced his retirement from international cricket on January 30.

He gave information about his retirement by tweeting and thanked the fans. Murali Vijay also told that he will now try his luck in foreign leagues.

Actually, on January 30, former Indian opener batsman Murali Vijay Retirement has retired from his international cricket.

Let us tell you that Murali gave information about his retirement on his official Twitter account. Let us tell you that Murali played his last international match for India in December 2018 against Australia in Perth.

Announcing his retirement from all three formats of cricket, Murali tweeted, 

“My journey from 2002-2018 seed has been the most wonderful as I got a golden opportunity to represent India at the highest level of the game. I am heartily grateful for the opportunities given to me by Board of Control for Cricket in India, TNCA, CSK. I would also like to thank my teammates, coaches.” 

Murali Vijay’s cricket career was like this –

If we talk about Vijay’s Test career, Murali played a total of 61 matches between 2008-2018 and scored 3982 runs during this period, including 12 centuries and 15 half-centuries.

Apart from this, Vijay has scored 339 runs in 17 ODIs, in which his highest score was 72. At the same time, he scored a total of 169 runs while playing 9 T20Is International matches.
