The Indian U-19 Women’s Cricket Team created history by winning the ICC Women’s T20I World Cup title on 29 January. Please tell that this was the first time that a women’s team won the World Cup title.

The Indian Under-19 women’s cricket team, led by Shafali Verma, defeated the England team (IND W vs ENG W) by 7 wickets in the final match. After this historic victory, on behalf of the senior men’s team of India, Rahul Dravid congratulated the Indian women’s team in a special way on behalf of all the players.

Rahul Dravid insisted Prithvi Shaw to give wishes to Indian women’s team –

In fact, in the second T20I match played at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, the Indian team registered a resounding victory by 6 wickets. On the other hand, the Indian women’s team registered a spectacular record by defeating England by 7 wickets in the final match of the Under-19 World Cup and became the world champion for the first time.

After this match, Indian team coach Rahul Dravid (Rahul Dravid India Coach) congratulated the women’s team in a special way.

Along with this, Prithvi Shaw, who returned to Team India after 18 months, was asked by Dravid to congratulate the women’s team after seeing the mic. In fact, Rahul said,

‘Today was a historic day for the Indian women’s U-19 team and they had a great day. I will ask U-19 winning captain Prithvi Shaw to share a congratulatory message to the women players.’

Let us tell you that after Rahul Dravid did this, Prithvi Shaw took the mike in his hand and congratulated the players of the Indian women’s team on becoming world champions. In his congratulatory message to the women players, Shaw said, You have done well, what you have achieved is no mean feat, everyone would like to congratulate you.” Well done .. 

While Shaw was giving congratulatory messages, Ishan Kishan and Yuzvendra Chahal were smiling at the cricketer.
