Rinku Singh hit five consecutive sixes in the last over to help Kolkata Knight Riders beat Gujarat Titans by three wickets in a breath-taking match. Stand-in captain Rashid Khan turned the match around with a hat-trick in the 16th over, but pacer Yash Dayal could not save the required 29 runs in the last over.
Rinku Singh scored 48 runs in 21 balls. After playing the first ball dot of the last over, Rinku sent the next five balls on air travel. Batting first after winning the toss, Gujarat Titans scored 204/4 thanks to half-centuries from Sai Sudarshan and Vijay Shankar, but KKR achieved the target by losing seven wickets in the last ball.

Rashid Khan’s hat-trick went in vain
