Indian batsman Ishan Kishan’s excellent form continues in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy tournament 2022 as well and he scored an excellent unbeaten century against Odisha in the Elite Group E match.

On the basis of this innings of Ishan Kishan, his team Jharkhand scored 188 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. However, Odisha’s team was all out for 117 runs in 19.2 overs against Jharkhand and the team had to face defeat by 95 runs.

Ishan Kishan came to open for his team Jharkhand in this match and went back to the pavilion after playing an unbeaten century.

The team’s second opener batsman Pankaj Kumar was dismissed for a duck after facing just one ball, but Ishan Kishan took the lead completely and scored a century to bring the team’s score to a respectable position.

He played an unbeaten 102 off 64 balls with the help of 7 sixes and 5 fours and his strike rate was 159.38. Ishan Kishan completed his century in this match by hitting a six.

While Captain Vijay Singh scored 18 runs, Kumar Suraj scored 32 runs and Anukul Rai scored 15 runs. On the other hand, Odisha opener batsman Shantanu Mishra scored 54 runs in 50 balls with the help of 2 sixes and 5 fours, but could not win his team.

Apart from Shantanu, other batsmen of the team disappointed, while Shahbaz Nadeem took the maximum 3 wickets for Jharkhand. Shahbaz took these wickets for 21 runs in 4 overs, while Anukul Rai scored 2 runs for 19 runs in 4 overs.
