Bring the youngster Siraj in place of Bumrah

India went with the senior players in the WTC final and neglected the youngsters which performed really well for the team . Mohammed Siraj has been doing well for the Indian team for the past 8 months. He has improved a lot in recent time. He was the highest Wicket taker for the Indian team in the         Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia.

Hardly anyone would have thought that but Siraj needs to be there at the cost of out-of-form Bumrah

Bumrah was included India 15 man Squad for WTC final but was left out from the playing 11. Mohammed Siraj is a quality bowler who can swing both ways. He is out and out replacement for Jasprit Bumrah. Siraj also has expressed pace and can deceive batsman with his skills. Siraj can bowl long spells whenever required. Jasprit Bumrah is an integral part of the Indian team but has not done really well in test cricket. In this WTC final Bumrah was wicket less in both the innings and conceded most runs. Indian team can rest Bumrah in some games and can go with Siraj as an option.

Either Pujara or Rahane

Pujara and Rahane are two most important parts of the Indian team.  They have contributed for the team whenever required. Cheteshwar Pujara has not been consistent as Rahane for the past few series. Both are pure test cricketers and play only this format of the game.

It’s high-time now a team should look take a call on Pujara’s low strike-rate

India needs to choose between Pujara and Rahane. Their over defensiveness has cause the game for the team. They have scored runs for the team but not consistent manner. Indian team highly rely on this players but scoring runs is also important for the winning cause. Pujara has shown character in the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy but was unable to score big runs while Rahane has scored three centuries in this WTC cycle.

Pujara did not deliver for the team in the both innings of the WTC final while Rahane got 49 in the first inning and was out cheaply in the second innings. For the forthcoming England tour India needs to find a way a to win in England and they have to choose between Rahane and Pujara. KL Rahul and hanuma Vihari can be a better replacement at number 3 or at number 5.

Shardul Thakur should replace Ravindra Jadeja

Ravindra Jadeja has been phenomenal for the Indian team after the 2017 Champions Trophy final loss. Ravindra Jadeja has delivered for the Indian team both with the bat and ball whenever situation demanded. Expectations from Ravindra Jadeja was high in the WTC final against New Zealand. Jadeja was included in the team in place of Hanuma Vihari as an all rounder. The only reason to include Jadeja in the playing 11 was to balance the team with both the bat and ball.

Shardul Thakur can vital with his out-swingers in English conditions

Ravindra Jadeja disappointed the team in both the innings. In both the innings he got out cheaply and took wicket in the whole game. In England the pitches support seam and swing bowling. It would be a better option for the team to include Shardul Thakur in the final playing 11 against England as he can swing the ball. Shardul Thakur has performed very well in all three formats for the Indian team in last 12 months.

Shardul Thakur also act as an all rounder. He has ability to bat in the lower order. He has centuries what is domestic side, Mumbai and also has scored some crucial runs for the Indian team. Indian Team should include Shardul Thakur in place of Ravindra Jadeja as pictures do not offer spin bowling. If you want a spinner you have someone like Ravichandran Ashwin, who has been superstar for the Indian team all over the globe. He took 4 wickets in the WTC final on a pitch which offered swing and seam.
