The Sri Lankan team is coming on a tour of India at the beginning of the new year. Sri Lanka will play three T20Is and three ODIs here. For this, BCCI has announced the T20I and ODI team on Tuesday.
This series between the two countries will be played on January 3, 2023. The series will start with T20I.
It should be noted that India has an upper hand over Sri Lanka in T20Is. So far 26 matches have been played between the two countries. In which India won 17 and Sri Lanka won 8 matches. A match is tied. India has the upper hand against Sri Lanka in ODIs as well.
So far 162 ODIs have been played between the two countries, in which Team India won 93 and Sri Lanka won 57 matches. One match between the two ended in a tie, while the result of 11 matches did not come out.
T2OI Match Schedule
1st T20I – against India and Sri Lanka to be played on 3rd January 2023 at Mumbai.
2nd T20I – to be played on 5 January 2023 in Pune.
3rd T20I – To be played on 7th January 2023 at Rajkot.
ODI match schedule –
First ODI – will be played on 10 January 2023 at Guwahati.
Second ODI – will be played in Kolkata on 12 January 2023.
Third ODI – will be played on 15 January 2023 at Thiruvananthapuram.
