Speaking to Cricbuzz, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) CEO Kasi Viswanathan said, “We are waiting for Mukesh but we are not holding out much hope. He was one of the mainstays of our bowling last year. If he misses out It would be unfortunate if he went.” At the same time, Mukesh said, “I am fine and hope to recover soon.”

Chennai bought him at base price

Let us tell you that Mukesh Chaudhary had made an impact in IPL 2022 on the basis of his speed and excellent bowling. Mukesh took 16 wickets in 13 matches. Mukesh was bought by Chennai at the base price of Rs 20 lakhs. After Deepak Chahar was injured, he played the role of the main bowler for Chennai.

Mukesh Chaudhary is currently in NCA

It may be noted that Mukesh Chowdhary is currently undergoing rehab for his back injury at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.

He has been active in domestic cricket for almost seven years, but has played only 13 first-class matches. He played a few List A matches for home state Maharashtra, but has been out of action since December

At the same time, Lucknow Super Giants have also got a setback. Uttar Pradesh’s Moshin, who bowled brilliantly for Lucknow last season, is also in doubt. Moshin took 14 wickets in 9 matches for Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2022 and helped Lucknow reach the play-offs.
