Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has announced in the post-match presentation after their win against Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2023 that it’s his final stage of his career, important to enjoy it.

Dhoni’s announcement has left fans in shock as he is one of the greatest cricketers India has ever produced. Dhoni has had a long and successful career, leading India to win the ICC World Twenty20 in 2007, the ICC World Cup in 2011, and the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013.

However, the 41-year-old cricketer has also faced his fair share of controversies, including the 2013 IPL spot-fixing scandal, which led to his resignation as the captain of the Chennai Super Kings. Dhoni has also faced controversies, including the recent warning he gave to his bowlers to stop bowling no-balls and too many wides.

His leadership skills and calm demeanor have earned him the nickname “Captain Cool” among fans and players alike. It is understandable that fans and the media are curious about his retirement plans,

Dhoni’s retirement will undoubtedly leave a void in history of cricket and now especially in CSK team, but it also provides an opportunity for the younger generation to step up and fill the gap.

Dhoni’s legacy will always be remembered, and we (cricketkeeda team) wish him the best in his future endeavors.
