BCCI has given a big update about Indian batsman Shreyas Iyer. According to the report of ESPNcricinfo, the BCCI said that Shreyas Iyer complained of pain in the lower back and he has been taken for the scan.
The BCCI issued a statement saying, ‘Shreyas Iyer complained of pain in the lower back after the third day. He has been taken for the scan. The BCCI medical team is monitoring him.’
However, it is not clear whether Shreyas Iyer will be able to bat in the Ahmedabad Test. Let us tell you that Iyer has been suffering from back pain for some time. Due to this injury, he was ruled out of the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Earlier, he was ruled out of the ODI series against New Zealand.
