The much awaited IPL 2020 Playoffs and final dates are here. The schedule for the IPL 2020 playoffs and grand finale were announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday (October 25). The play-off games in the thirteenth edition of the IPL will be held from Nov 5 to Nov 8 once the round robin league fixtures get over on November 3. The grand finale of the thirteenth edition of the IPL will be held at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai on November 10. The top four teams from the league stages of the tournament will secure a berth in the knockouts of the marquee T20 league. While the points secured (wins) by the teams at the end of the round robin stage will determine their final standings, if at all two or more teams are tied on points, then net run rate will come into play.

 

Here is a look at the full schedule for the IPL 2020 Play-Offs and Grand Finale

First Qualifier – November 5

The First Qualifier will be held on November 5 at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai (UAE). First Qualifier will be contested between the teams which secure the top two places at the end of the round robin fixtures. The winner of the contest books a place into the finals.

Eliminator – November 6

The Eliminator will be played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on November 6. The eliminator will be played out between the teams who have ended at the third and fourth spot on the points table after the culmination of the league stag

Second Qualifier – November 8

The Second Qualifier is scheduled to be played on November 8 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The second qualifier will be played out between the winner of the ‘First Qualifier’ and ‘Eliminator’

Grand Finale – November 10

The grand finale or the title clash of the Indian Premier League Season 13 will be played out at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai on November 10.

 

Currently Delhi Capitals,Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore have a chance to secure the top 2 spots and there is a race between these three teams for the playing the Qualifier 1. Kolkata Knight Riders, Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals are fighting for the fourth spot in the meanwhile. Only one of the three teams can qualify for the playoffs and play the Eliminator.
