The only Ashes Test between the England and Australia women’s cricket team has started on 22 June i.e. from today. In this match, Australian team captain Beth Muthy won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, Ellyse Perry scored a brilliant half-century for the Kangaroo team and impressed everyone with her 99 runs innings.

During this, she registered a big record in her name as soon as she stepped on the field. Let us tell you that Ellyse Perry has become the first woman player, who is playing the Ashes series for the 10th time. Before this, no female player has been able to achieve this position till date.

In fact, Ellyse Perry, who made her international debut in the year 2007, has played a total of 10 Tests, 131 ODIs and 139 T20I matches so far. She created history as soon as she stepped on the ground on the first day of the one-off Ashes series 2023 against England. In such a situation, everyone is congratulating her after achieving this record.

Let us tell you that last month, Ellyse Perry had disclosed about her future plans and told that she wants to play cricket for maximum time and wants to do something for her team. She said during that time,

“My body has been feeling really great lately. I had one chance to fight against things there, so I am working hard to get back at that and do well in it. I like to have as many people around me as possible. It is not wrong to think that you can play for so many years, but it should happen that I can wake up tomorrow and it is not the same for me.”
