Bangladesh has been one of the most improved teams in terms of quality and gameplay in the past few years. Recently won the One-day series against India by 2-1, and on the other hand, they lost the test series by 2-0 even though they had an excellent chance to draw the series. Now, to look at the future, We need to figure out
Who is the most expected future captain for the Bangladesh Cricket team?
1. Litton Das
Litton Das is one of the more experienced players on the Bangladesh side and has demonstrated leadership qualities. He has a sharp cricketing mind and reads the game really well. He led the Bangladesh team against the mighty Indian side and sealed the ODI series for his team. For now he remains the number one choice to take over the leadership of the underdog Bangladeshi side.
2. Mehidy Hasan Miraz
Mehedi Hasan Miraz has emerged as one of the brightest young stars in Bangladesh cricket. He led the country to their first appearance in an Under-19 World Cup semi-final in February 2016, before making the year more memorable with his Test debut, against England in October.
He is a batting allrounder who bowls right-arm off-spin with a quiet action where he trundles to the wicket before giving a slight leap and rotating his upper body. It is a beautifully simple action that has yielded him many wickets at the U-19 and first-class levels. A young captain in making could be good for the Bangladeshi side.
3. Mustafizur Rehman
Mustafizur Rahman is a left-arm pace bowler who developed the left-armer’s more offcut, which was delivered as a spinner does but with the added ability to make it carry to the wicketkeeper standing back. Can a young talented bowler be a good choice for the Asian underdogs?
