Yuvraj Singh, a renowned former Indian cricketer, has taken a bold step by issuing two legal notices to Delhi-based real estate firms, citing arbitration clauses over alleged privacy rights violations and delayed possession of a promised apartment.
The notices, sent through Rizwan Law Associates, seek compensation for the delay in project completion and the issuance of the Letter of Possession without a reasonable cause or timeline extension.
Furthermore, Yuvraj Singh demands delivery of a high-quality apartment that meets his expectations, as he was promised a premium quality apartment but received an inferior one.
The cricketer had booked an apartment in 2020 in Hauz Khas, New Delhi, through a real estate project by Brilliant Etoile Private Limited and Uppal Housing Private Limited. One notice is addressed to both companies, while the other is sent only to Brilliant Etoile Private Limited, regarding the infringement of Yuvraj’s privacy rights.

Despite the expiration, Yuvraj Singh claims that his services are being commercially used without his consent, violating his Copyright, Personality Rights, and Right to Publicity.
Yuvraj has reserved the right to elaborate on the details in the Statement of Claim. This development highlights the importance of ensuring that contractual agreements are upheld and respected by all parties involved.
