The 57th match of the Indian Premier League 2023 (IPL 2023) was played between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Gujarat Titans won the toss and decided to bowl. Suryakumar Yadav completed the century with a six off the last ball. Suryakumar scored an unbeaten 103 off 49 balls.
Suryakumar came into bat at a time when Rashid Khan was in his stride and Mumbai’s two wickets fell in a single over after a good start. Surya played a bit cautious in the beginning but once he got the rhythm, there was no corner of the ground where Suryakumar did not hit shots.

He hit 11 fours and six sixes in this innings, this is also his first IPL century. Apart from Surya, Ishan Kishan, Vishnu Vinod and Rohit Sharma also played useful innings for Mumbai.
For the Mumbai team, victory is necessary to stay ahead in the playoff race. On the other hand, the Gujarat team would like to win this match and secure a place in the playoffs. Gujarat team is on top of the points table with 16 points. Mumbai’s team is at number four with 12 points.
Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan open the innings for Mumbai Indians. Mohammed Shami brings the first over for Gujarat Titans. Captain Rohit Sharma was dismissed after scoring 29 runs off 18 balls. Ishan Kishan got out after Rohit Sharma. He scored 31 runs off 20 balls.
