A week ago Shubman Gill missed a century just by few runs but the after a week he got what he deserves, he hit his first IPL century. The last time when Shubman Gill came against Lucknow Super Giants in Ahmedabad, he could not complete it even after reaching close to the century, Gill was 94 not out. He was happy about the victory of Gujarat, but somewhere there was also a regret of not completing the century.
Now after a week when Gill returned to Ahmedabad, he completed his unfinished work and hit a century against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Shubman completed his century in 56 balls. With this, Shubman has become the first batsman to score a century from Gujarat Titans. Not only this, he has also become the first batsman of Gujarat Titans to score more than 1000 runs.

Gill hit 101 runs in 58 balls. During this, he hit 13 fours and a six. Gill finally fulfilled what he had promised 8 days back in Ahmedabad. Last time when he could not complete the century from Ahmedabad, he had said that there are still some matches left and he will hit his first century. After 8 days, he also completed that.
