The third match of the 4-match Test series between Australia will be played from 1 to 5 March at the Holkar ground in Indore. The third Test match between India and Australia will start at 9:30 am.

India is ahead 2-0 in the four-match Border Gavaskar series against Australia. After winning the second Test match in Delhi, Team India has decided that now they cannot be defeated in the series, but now they will not satisfy without eliminating Australia with 4-0.

If Team India wins the third Test match against Australia in Indore, then they will not only take possession of the Test series, but will also make a big record. If the Indian team defeats Australia in the Border Gavaskar series, then it will create history by winning its 16th consecutive Test series at home. At present, India has won 15 consecutive Test series at home, which is a world record.

If India beats the Australian team by a margin of 3-0 or 4-0 in the Test series, then Rohit Sharma-led team India will top the points table of the World Test Championship (WTC) and make it to the finals.

From June 7, the final match of the World Test Championship (WTC) will be played at the Oval ground in London. In such a situation, Captain Rohit Sharma will field his best playing XI in the third Test against Australia at Holkar ground in Indore and will also sacrifice his big players with the playing XI.

Here’s when Pant can return on the ground

Before the Indore Test, Australia suffered two major setbacks in the form of opener David Warner and fast bowler Josh Hazlewood. Both the players have been ruled out of the remaining two Test matches.

Hazlewood will return back to Australia due to his injury while David Warner has been ruled out of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy due to his elbow and head injury.
