After defeating England in the Under-19 Women’s T20I World Cup, Indian team’s vice-captain Shweta Sehrawat returned to her home in Delhi. On reaching Delhi, his family members warmly welcomed him. Shweta Sehrawat, who hails from Delhi, had a stellar performance throughout the tournament. Shweta played an unbeaten 92 against South Africa. After this he scored an unbeaten 74 against UAE. Scored 31 not out against Scotland and 21 against Australia.

Shweta’s bat did not stop here. Scored 13 against Sri Lanka. When the Indian team faltered in the semi-finals, Shweta not only played a brilliant inning but also helped India win.

Shweta remained unbeaten after scoring 61 runs in the semi-finals. However, her bat remained silent in the final and she could only score 5 runs.
