Indian team’s star wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has undergone ligament surgery in Mumbai after being injured in a car accident.

Let us tell you that at this time Pant is under the supervision of the medical team. After surgery, it may take about 6 months or more for him to be fully fit.

That is, Pant will hardly be seen playing IPL 2023. But even if Pant does not play in the IPL, it will not harm him at all. Please tell that Pant will get full salary without playing IPL. Pant was retained by Delhi Capitals for Rs 16 crore and he will get the full amount even after not playing in the IPL. However, it will not be given by the franchise but by the BCCI itself.

Rishabh Pant will get Rs 21 crore even if he does not play IPL 2023  –

Let us tell you that on the morning of December 30, at 5.20 am, Team India’s wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant met with a car accident while going to Roorkee.

He also suffered several injuries in this accident, after which he was admitted to the hospital. Pant has also recently undergone ligament injury operation. In such a situation, it will take time for him to recover, there is doubt on his playing IPL 2023.

But despite this, Pant will get his IPL salary of Rs 16 crore. This money will be given to him by the Board of Control for Cricket in India ie BCCI. Please tell that BCCI not only got Rishabh Pant treated, but it is also bearing the expenses of his every item. Now in such a situation the question arises that why BCCI is incurring so much expenditure? So tell that according to BCCI rules, “In case of being out of IPL due to injury, these players are paid in full by the board.” The insurance company pays the salary, not the concerned franchisee.

Not only this, the board will also make a one-time payment of Rs 5 crore towards the annual retainership fee he gets under the central contract. Along with this, let us tell you that despite Deepak Chahar not playing in IPL, in the year 2022, BCCI had paid the amount received from IPL.
