Members of the Indian ODI team have been allowed to take a break of about three to four days before rejoining their IPL franchises. The opening match of IPL 2023 will be played between defending champions Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings.
It is to be understood that the workload management of players who are in contention for the World Cup will be monitored and hence rest is of paramount importance.
Depends on the players –
A BCCI source told PTI, ‘Some players will directly join the IPL camp, but they have the option of taking a break of three-four days. They can join their respective IPL teams after resting at home. Even if the player joins the training camp directly, it is unlikely that he will get a chance to train before the next 72 hours.’

Let us tell you that the Indian team is troubled by the injuries of the players at this time. Shreyas Iyer has to undergo back surgery and it is difficult for him to play in IPL.
