The Indian team led by Rohit Sharma is very close to entering the semi-finals of the T20I World Cup 2022. Remember that Rohit Sharma is one of the four players in this T20I World Cup who played the 2007 World Cup.

India won the T20I World Cup in 2007 under the captaincy of Dhoni. Since then he could never win the title. This time India is one win away from making it to the semi-finals.

In view of India’s recent performance, BCCI President Roger Binny, on the question asked about Rohit’s captaincy, said that ‘Rohit cannot be compared to MS Dhoni, everyone has their own ways.’

This question was asked when BCCI President Roger Binny had gone to Chennai on Friday to participate in the program organized on the 90th Annual Day of Tamil Nadu Cricket Association.

Question was asked on the captaincy of Dhoni and Rohit –

There, the journalists asked Roger Binny to compare Rohit’s captaincy with Dhoni and Kapil Dev.

Binny kept quiet on this question then said that “everyone led the team in their own way. Rohit is an experienced player. He has played many matches and seen many situations. Everyone has a different way. Dhoni is totally different, you can’t compare him with Kapil or Gavaskar. Everyone has a different way of working.”

India will play the last match of the group against Zimbabwe –

Let us inform that India will play their final group stage match against Zimbabwe in Melbourne on Sunday. If India wins, it will make it to the semi-finals from Group 2. New Zealand are so far the only team to qualify for the semi-finals from Group 1.
