On the other hand, the 26-year-old Vaishak has not featured in the IPL before but has been a consistent performer in the domestic season, he took 10 wickets at an economy of 6.31 in Syed Mushtaq Ali’s 8 T20I matches. He was Karnataka’s joint-highest wicket-taker in the semi-finals of the Ranji Trophy, with 31 wickets in 8 matches at an average of 24.58.
