Despite a shaky start with consecutive defeats to India and South Africa, the Australian side displayed remarkable resilience, stringing together nine consecutive victories to clinch the coveted championship.

The victorious Australian team received a handsome reward of USD 4 million, slightly surpassing INR 33 crore. Meanwhile, the runners-up, India, were awarded USD 2 million, equivalent to approximately INR 16.5 crore.
