The Pakistan Cricket Board is infuriated after Ramiz Raja’s statement. The board has warned of legal action against Ramiz Raja.

The Pakistan Cricket Board believes that former chairman Ramiz Raja’s comments are aimed at tarnishing and damaging the reputation of current chairman Najam Sethi.

The Pakistan Cricket Board on Wednesday engaged in a war of words between the board’s new management committee and the former chairman following his formal exit. “The Pakistan Cricket Board has expressed its dismay at the comments made and the language used by former chairman Ramiz Raja against PCB Management Committee Chairman Najam Sethi on social media platforms and in a TV interview,” the PCB said in a statement.

Rameez Raja was furious after being removed from PCB

It may be noted that last Thursday, Raja was removed from the post of PCB chairman by the country’s government, which appointed a 14-member committee headed by Najam Sethi to run the affairs of the game for the next four months.

Following his dismissal, Ramiz Raja alleged that he was not even allowed to collect his belongings from the board after the constitution was suspended by the government.
