Mumbai Indians (MI)
We don’t see much changes in the playing eleven of the Mumbai Indians side. The top order will remain same for the side with Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock opening the batting followed by suryakumar Yadav at 3 and Ishan Kishan at 4.
Mumbai Indians will follow their old template of playing Hardik Pandya and Pollard at 5 and 6. Has been very successful for the side and there are no injury concerns in the team so far. Pollard has become a different League player after taking an extra responsibility of captaincy of the West Indies cricket team.
Krunal Pandya and Rahul Chahar will be the all-rounder for the team. The senior Pandya is low on confidence while Rahul chehar is high on confidence as he has been included in the Indian side for the T20 World Cup.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)
Kolkata will once again rely on their old opening pair of Shubman Gill and Rahul Tripathi. Shubham Gill was struggling during the first phase of the IPL. He will have to chance his defensive technique. Nitish Rana who made his International debut recently on the Sri Lankan tour will play at No. 3. Followed by captain Eoin Morgan and former skipper Dinesh Karthik.
The in form batsman from the past 4 years , Andre Russell will bat at No. 6 for KKR. Russell has won games single handedly for his side. Sunil Narine who has been handy with the ball and has contributed with the bat as well will also be included in the XI. Sunil Narine surprisingly has been left out from the Windies squad for the world cup. Lockie Ferguson will given opportunity in place of Pat Cummins who will no longer be the part of this year’s IPL. Prasidh Krishna and the trumo card , Varun Chakravarthy will also be included. The KKR team management will have to choose between Shivam Mavi and Nagarkoti.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)
Virat Kohli had made his intentions very clear that he would open in IPL. Virat Kohli will once again open the batting for RCB. Partnering with him will be Devdutt Padikkal, who has been a consistent performer for Royal Challengers Bangalore since 2020.
Virat Kohli played Rajat Patidar at number 3 on most occasions. His role was mostly limited to playing second-fiddle to Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers, and the openers. The rationale behind this more was to give more depth to the batting by playing AB de Villiers at 5.
Ahead of the second leg of IPL 2021, RCB signed the exciting Sri Lankan all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga as a replacement for Adam Zampa. The Leg spinner from Sri Lanka is a good bowling all-rounder.
Harshal Patel was the star of the first half of IPL 2021 having finished as the leading wicket-taker with 17 wickets from just 7 matches. RCB would want Harshal to keep taking wickets, but of course at a miser economy rate. Unlike Harshal, Yuzvendra Chahal didn’t have a good IPL 2021 so far. Kyle Jamieson and Siraj will also be included in the playing XI.
