To mark this historic occasion, two of the big teams in the league’s history – Mumbai Indians (MI) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) – faced off in a thrilling encounter.

However, before the beginning of IPL 2023 season, a news from several big media agencies surfaced that MI vs CSK (6th May) will be the 1000th match of IPL.

Now it became the biggest headache for fans that from which match IPL touch that feat in which they can trust that it’s the 1000th match of IPL, whether it’s on 30th April (MI vs RR) or 6th May (MI vs CSK).

Without any doubt MI vs CSK is a highly anticipated game every season. Both teams have a massive fan following, and their matches always draw huge crowds. MI and CSK have been two of the most successful teams in the IPL, having won a combined total of 8 IPL trophies.
