Openers
Rohit Sharma is sure confirmation for the T20 World Cup. Rohit Sharma is the vice captain of the team and has been brilliant in the blue Jersey. KL Rahul will also get a place as an opener in this squad. Rahul has played some terrific knocks for the Indian team and in the IPL as well. Rohit and Rahul are likely to open in the first match against Pakistan.

Middle Order

Prithvi Shaw might get added to the reserve list for the T20 World Cup. He is now played many games for the Indian team and carries lots of experience. He might be added as a reserve opener in the team.
Ishan Kishan can also get a chance in the Reserve list as he has played some terrific knocks against England and Sri Lanka. Mohammed Shami and Deepak Chahar might be added as the backup medium page options for the team. Surprisingly, Varun Chakravarthy can also get a chance to feature in the Reserve list and can travel with the team for the T20 World Cup.
