Sri Lanka will begin their tour of England 2021 with a T20 series from 23rd June. England cricket board has already announced their cricketing calendar for the summer which includes both white ball and Test cricket. The England cricket team already concludes their first series of the cricketing summer against the mighty New Zealand. Eventually they lost the series by 1-0. They will pay Sri Lanka only for Limited over series. It will be very difficult for the Sri Lankan side to beat the hosts in their backyard. Sri Lankan team will be lead by new captain, Kusal Perera.
The English selectors have announced their 16 man Squad for the upcoming T20 Series. They have been very consistent in the white ball format .England have only lost two series in their last 8 t20i series and both the defeats were against India. The England team will be lead by Eoin Morgan.
If we talk about the pitch for the 1st T20 which is going to held in Cardiff. The Cardiff wicket will be batting friendly and is likely to remain same throughout the match. There will be a lot of help for the quick bowlers.

England will play with their full strength side against the Sri Lankans. After the last series lost against India ,England had decided to to include Chris Woakes and David Willey for this series. They both are making a comeback to the T20 side after a long break. Jofra Archer and all rounder Ben Stokes are out of this series due to injuries. The England players are in red-hot form as they are coming from T20 blast. The England team will look to continue their dominance over the Sri Lankan side.

Young skipper, Kusal Perera had our outstanding outing with the bat against the Bangladesh team. He will look to continue his decent performance in this T20 Series. Kusal Perera is a explosive opener. The Sri Lankan selectors have opted for a different side in this series.
Hasaranga who impressed a lot will be a player to watch out for in the series with Oshada Fernando. Akila Dananjaya has been included in the series. He had a decent series against West Indies apart from conceding 6 sixes in an over.
The explosive English opener and their regular wicket keeper, Jos Butler will be a key player in this series against Sri Lanka. Jos Butler is one of the most consistent batsman in the T20 format. He was impressive in a series against India, he scored one 72 runs with an average of 43.
The young lad, Sam Curran will also play a key role in the forthcoming T20 Series against Sri Lanka. He is a good asset for a team both with a bat and ball. He is a explosive lower order batsman and has a average of 47.
The host England side will be the favorites to win the match and as well as the series against Sri Lanka. They had a decent record at Cardiff and they are yet to lose a T20 at this venue. Sri Lanka needs to outplay them completely in all three departments.
