Deepak received the distressing news on December 2 and promptly traveled from Delhi to Aligarh by road.
Lokendra Chahar’s health condition is reported to be critical, and he has been admitted to Mithraj Hospital in Aligarh. The family is contemplating relocating him to Agra or Delhi. The cricketer’s father, known to be diabetic and dealing with hypertension, is currently under intensive care.
Despite the personal setback, Deepak Chahar showcased his professional commitment in the fourth T20I against Australia, securing two crucial wickets by dismissing Tim David and Matthew Short. His performance contributed to India’s victory in the match, where the Men in Blue triumphed by 20 runs.
