A report by Fox Sports.com.au claims that the Australian opener has already been approached by multiple teams ahead of IPL 2022. It is believed that the franchises have been shocked by SRH’s treatment of Warner and want to pounce on the opportunity to sign him.

This can be a blessing in disguise for not only him but for several franchises interested in him. Not only is he an explosive opener but also a superb captain. His overall skills can be really handy for any team. Besides there is the mega auction coming up in before IPL 2022. David Warner could easily fit into any team and thus, several IPL teams want him in their side. The reports which reported Warner’s exit from SRH and several teams being interested in him have also suggested that the Director of Cricket for the Indian Premier League team Sunrisers Hyderabad Tom Moody’s aspirations to become Team India’s coach after Ravi Shastri’s exit from the team after the T20 World Cup 2021.

He has written a touching message about his love for the franchise on an Instagram post.

Now with no David Warner, Kane Williamson looks to be the leader of the Franchise for the next few good years. Kane Williamson also has a good fan base so that will surely help the franchise to have the bunch of supports their side. Apart from Kane Williamson, Johnny Baristrow and Rashid Khan are also the Global Icons with the franchise. With the fresh auctions schedule for IPL-2022. Sunrisers will look to reatin both Kane and Rashid if provided an option by the IPL Governing Council rentention policy.

Well for now, Sunrisers need to sit back relax for a month or two  before finalizing their action plan for IPL-2022 that is set to happen in 6 months from now.
