We have seen several instances of cricketers joining Bollywood and acting in movies.
Cricket and Bollywood often go hand in hand as all the frenzy and entertainment somehow manages to pass between the both. Many cricketers look so good that they are rumored to be linked with various Bollywood actors and actresses. However, what if Bollywood actors were to become cricketers? Is that even possible? There are several cricketers who have played cricket in the past and could have become cricketers. Today we shall be taking a look at Bollywood actors who could have become Cricketers.
1) Sunil Shetty:
Sunil Shetty is a very successful actor. He became a household name in the early 2000’s. Hoover, he could have become a cricketer. He was a cricketer himself and even teamed up with Zaheer Khan to launch India’s first nationwide cricket league for amateur cricketers named Ferit Cricket Bash (FCB).
2) Aftab Shivdasani:
Aftab is a Bollywood actor. He used to play the game almost everyday on the film sets. He was also a cricketer himself as he represented the Mumbai Heroes in the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL). He is also an avid cricket fan and watches the game closely. He was even involved with the sports journalist Boria Majumdar in a cricket related video.
3) Ritesh Deshmukh:
Ritesh Deshmukh has been involved in a lot of big hits. He is a really famous actor and has managed to gain a lot of popularity. Like Aftab, he too has played in the CCL. He represented Mumbai Heroes and Veer Marathi. He has been one of the first faces which come to our mind when we hear anything about CCL.

4) Angad Bedi:
Bedi was born to former Indian cricket captain Bishan Singh Bedi. He is an actor and model. He made his debut with Kaya Taran in 2004. Angad has played for Delhi in Under-16 and Under-19 level. However, Angad was always more interested in acting. As cricket runs in his blood, he could have easily become a cricketer and probably would have even succeeded in it.
5) Hardy Sandhu:
Hardavinder Singh “Hardy” Sandhu, is an Indian singer, actor as well as a former cricketer. He is a genuine cricketer and has played along with various Indian cricketers such as Shikhar Dhawan, Manoj Tiwary and Pujara. He is currently a singer in Punjab. However, He played cricket for close to a decade as a seamer, but suffered an injury, forcing him to give up the game in 2007. He was also part of the 2004 Under-19 Cricket World Cup Indian squad.
