The increasing difficulties of England regarding the Ashes series are not taking the name of stopping. England’s bowlers are being ruled out of the series one after the other due to injury.

In such a time, the name of Jack Leach has also been added to this list, who has been ruled out of the five-match Ashes series against Australia due to back strain. The England Cricket Board (ECB) gave this information on Sunday.

Leach took four wickets in England’s 10-wicket win against Ireland earlier last week. Leach, who is part of the England team led by coach Brendon McCullum and captain Ben Stokes, took a total of 46 Test wickets last year.

Leach was named in the 16-man squad announced by England on Saturday for the first two Tests of the Ashes series. Leach’s injury is a big blow for England. A few days ago, fast bowler Joffra Archer was also ruled out of the series due to injury. Earlier, James Anderson got out of the team due to injury. In such a situation, the increasing difficulties of England before the Ashes are a matter of concern for the team.

During England’s win against Ireland, Leach suddenly developed lower back pain. Meanwhile, after the scan on Sunday, information about Leach’s fracture came to the fore.

Meanwhile, he had to be ruled out of the Ashes Test series. Soon the name of the player who will replace Leach in the England team will be announced. The first match of the Ashes series will be held at Edgbaston on 16 June.
