Bangladesh cricket is going through a very bad patch, not only they lost 3-0 to Pakistan but also lost all five games in Super 12 of ICC T20I World Cup. The first game of the series will begin in Chattogram from 26 November.

Squads & Team News : Bangladesh Vs Pakistan Tests
Mahmadul Hasan Roy and Rejaur Rahman Raja have received their Maiden call up for the Bangladesh test side against Pakistan. The veteran batter Tamim Iqbal has been ruled out of the series due to multiple injuries. Taskin Ahmed will also not be available for test series because of an injury on his hand which he sustained in the last game of the T20I series.

The star all rounder, Shakib Al Hasan has been ruled out of the first test match against Pakistan starting from 26 November in Chittagong. The Bangladesh cricket board chief selector Minhaj ul Abedin confirmed Shakib’s absence. Shakib Al Hasan has not fully recovered from his hamstring injury that he suffered during the world cup.

Pakistan Cricket board announced a 20-members squad for the upcoming test series against Bangladesh. The selectors have recalled the young opener Imam-ul-Haq and off spinner Bilal Asif. Bilal Asif will replace the experienced Yasir Shah who is yet to recover from a thumb injury he suffered during a domestic T20 tournament in Pakistan.

Kamran Ghulam has been also included to the squad after being left out during the Pakistan’s tour of West Indies. The Pakistan Cricket Board selectors have also included off-spinner Sajid Khan and leg-spinner Zahid Mahmood in the squad while young pace bowler Shahnawaz Dahani has been left out without getting a chance to make his debut. He was part of the Test squad that toured the West Indies.
