ACC Asian Cricket Council President Jay Shah released the schedule of Asia Cup and the next two years (2023-24) on the previous day i.e. 5th January.
Najam Sethi, the chief of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the board announcing this schedule, retaliated and gave a comment taunting Jay Shah. He alleged that Jay Shah released the schedule taking a unilateral decision without any consultation or negotiation. In this episode, the Asian Cricket Council has now given a befitting reply to these allegations of Najam Sethi.
Actually, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) gave a befitting reply to the allegations of Najam Sethi, saying that this schedule has been passed in the meeting of the Development Committee and Finance and Marketing Committee.
After this, all the member countries were also informed about this through e-mail. The ACC said that the Pakistan Cricket Board had also received the information through e-mail on 22 December 2022. But there was no suggestion from his side. After this, Jay Shah has released this schedule under the rules.
