​The ISPL is India’s first national-level T10 tennis-ball cricket league. ISPL 2026 marks a significant expansion, growing to eight franchises with the addition of teams from Delhi and Ahmedabad.

Game-Changing Rules for ISPL 2026:

  • ​Tip-Top Toss: A traditional gully-style toss where captains step heel-to-toe; the first to step on the other’s foot wins.
  • 9 Street Runs: If a player hits a shot directly into the audience, the team is awarded 9 runs.
  • ​Tape-Ball Overs: Two mandatory overs per innings must be bowled with a tape ball, adding extra bounce and swing.
  • ​50/50 Challenge: A high-stakes tactical move where teams predict a run target for an over to earn a 150% run bonus.
  • Powerplays: Each match features a two-over mandatory powerplay at the start and a one-over “Batting Powerplay” that can be taken at any time by the batting side.
