  • Rachin Ravindra: Despite 8 matches and a decent start, Ravindra managed only 191 runs at 27.29, including a solitary fifty (65*). His strike rate of 128.19 failed to set the tone at the top.

  • Ishan Kishan: With a hefty price tag of 11.25 crore, he scored 354 runs in 14 innings, with a strike rate of 152. After a promising start, his form dipped sharply.
  • Rishabh Pant: The most expensive IPL player at 27 crore, he scored just 269 runs in 14 matches at an average of 23.45 and a strike rate of 133, failing to justify his price tag.
  • Venkatesh Iyer: Costing 23.75 crore, he scored 142 runs in 11 matches at 20.29, with a strike rate of 139.22. Despite a solitary fifty, his overall impact was minimal.

Lower Order: Glenn Maxwell, Liam Livingstone, Deepak Hooda

  • Glenn Maxwell: His worst IPL season—just 48 runs in 7 innings at an average of 8.00, coupled with 4 wickets at an economy of 8.46.
  • Liam Livingstone: With 87 runs in 9 matches at 14.50 average and only 2 wickets, he failed to showcase his explosive potential.
