Zimbabwe is gearing up for an exciting summer of cricket as it prepares to host South Africa and New Zealand for a multi-format series. This upcoming series promises to be a thrilling event for fans, featuring two Test matches against each team and a tri-nation T20I series.
The action will kick off with Zimbabwe facing South Africa in a Test match for the first time since 2017, taking place at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo. This two-match Test series will start on June 28 and conclude on July 10. The first Test runs from June 28 to July 2, followed by the second Test from July 6 to 10.

After the Tests, Zimbabwe will join South Africa and New Zealand in a T20I tri-series starting on July 14. Over a two-week period, each team will battle it out against one another twice. The top two teams will then advance to the final on July 26, competing for the trophy at Harare Sports Club. The schedule for the T20I matches includes games on July 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, and 24, with the final on July 26.
After the T20I series, The Chevrons will shift its focus back to Test cricket, facing New Zealand in another two-match Test series at the Queens Sports Club. This series marks the first time Zimbabwe and New Zealand will meet in Test cricket since 2016. The matches are set for July 30 to August 3 and next from August 7 to 11.

Givemore Makoni, Zimbabwe Cricket’s Managing Director, expressed his enthusiasm about the series, calling it “the biggest international home season we have had in years.”
He noted that this is a fantastic opportunity for Zimbabwean players to compete against two of the world’s top cricket teams, which will help grow the game in Zimbabwe.
