In India, cricket is considered to be religion. Every young mind aspires to be talented like Virat Kohli or Jaspreet Bumrah.  But the fact is only talent can not make you a great cricketer. In practical there are many players despite having great talent are incapable to make it into the Indian team.

Harbhajan Singh

Harbhajan Singh started playing for India in 1998 ,when he was only 17 years of age. He faced many controversies on his bowling action. There were some investigations involved.  He was later called up for some disciplinary actions. And despite of these incidents he became one of the best spinners in the world. Harbhajan Singh was the first Indian bowler to pick up a test hat trick.

Harbhajan last represented India in 2016

He was up and down throughout his career and every time we had to struggle to make it into the playing XI. During starting days in Indian team. He was criticized for  bowling less flighted  deliveries and bowling defensively which cost in high economy rate.  But he never give up and came up as a true Warrior.

Bajji last played in 2016 for the Indian team and and now it is nearly impossible for him to break it into the side again. Many young talents like Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzi Chahal  have done really well for India which makes very hard for bajji to make a comeback.

Ambati Rayudu

Everybody was surprised when he was left out by selectors for the 2019 World Cup.  They had two opportunities to call him for the World Cup but preferred ruthless Rishabh Pant and Mayank Agarwal over him, which was clear indication that they are not going to consider him any more.

Although Rayudu has made the U-Turn, his comeback doesn’t seem to be on the cards

Shreyas Iyer has done a really good job for the Indian team batting at number 4 position which automatically blocks Rayudu’s chances to break it into the Indian side again. Looking for  the prospectus of the T20 world cup ,he was  never a  regular member for the team. Rayudu has only represented India in 6 T20 internationals.

Kedar Jadhav

The wicket keeper batsman who became India’s all rounder Kedar Jadhav is now not in contention list for the Indian selectors.  His ODI career is very impressive. He scored 1389 runs at an average of 40 with strike rate of 101. But as a finisher he has failed to perform for the national side. With top three score in most of the runs is only task was to finish games with higher strike rate.

With few months going into the world cup Kedar Jadhav as fail to make an impact in front of the selectors. He last played a T20 International for Indian team in 2017. Kedar Jadhav will turn 38 by the time the next world cup arrives in 2023 which is going to held in India.  India has find a finisher in the face of Hardik Pandya and Manish Pandey. There are many backup options for the team which makes impossible for Jadhav to make a comeback.

His another negative point is that he is a very slow field. Captain Virat Kohli has led a message on great feeling and let himself as an inspiration for all.

These three will always be remembered for their game and what they have done for the national team irrespective of their future as an Indian cricketer.
