Wasim Khan the president of Pakistan Cricket board has denied any talks of hosting Asia Cup in Bangladesh this year in September. There were talks about the Pakistan giving its hosting rights to Bangladesh in return of which Bangladesh agreed to play in Pakistan in split tours but earlier today Khan stated that it is the matter of ACC and we don’t have any such plans or talks with the Bangladesh Cricket Board Regarding this.

Khan stated, “This is totally incorrect and we haven’t spoken with Bangladesh about the Asia Cup at all”, told reporters in Lahore today, Khan further added that, “This is ACC tournament and the hosting rights were allotted to us by them, and we can’t change it,” Khan said. “It’s in our mind and it’s our wish to host the Asia Cup in Pakistan.”

So for now Aisa Cup in Bangladesh seems to be the talk of a bubble.
