BCCI on Tuesday has cleared the air on India’s participation in the upcoming Asia Cup which is sheduled to be hosted in Pakistan.

A BCCI official while was very clear in his voice and said that India won’t be participating in the Asia Cup if Pakistan remains the venue and also added the they are happy to be out of Asia Cup if the venue won’t get changed. The official added that it we have raised the voice for the neutral venue and if it gets a go then India are into it without any hesitation.

The official stated that, The question isn’t about the PCB hosting the tournament. It is about the venue and as things stand now, it is quite clear that we would need a neutral venue. There is no way that an Indian team can visit Pakistan to even participate in a multi-nation event like the Asia Cup,a BCCI official told news agency IANS.

Further concluding with that “If the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) is ok with an Asia Cup minus India then it is a different ball game. But if India is to participate in the Asia Cup, then the venue cannot be Pakistan,” the official said.

So for now India team playing in Pakistan seems to be the talk of a bubble and India are very much adment of not playing on the Pakistan soil as for now.
