Rajasthan Royals launches a promising talent in the name of Vaibhav Suryavanshi during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match against Lucknow Super Giants. At just 14 years old, Suryavanshi made headlines with a spectacular knock of 34 runs off 20 balls, despite the team’s eventual loss. His debut was marked by an impressive six on his very first delivery, a testament to his fearless approach towards the game.
To adequately prepare for the rigors of IPL, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been following a strict diet, guided by his coach, Manish Ojha. The coach revealed that certain beloved food items like mutton and pizza have been eliminated from Suryavanshi’s diet. “Mutton is not allowed as per the instructions. Pizza has been removed from his diet chart,” Ojha explained to the Times of India.

Although the young cricketer previously relished these foods, Ojha noted that such indulgences contributed to him looking a bit chubby, which the team aimed to mitigate.
Despite these dietary sacrifices, Vaibhav Suryavanshi remains focused and committed to honing his skills. Coach Ojha describes him as a blend of Yuvraj Singh and Brian Lara, emphasizing Suryavanshi’s aggressive batting style reminiscent of these legends.
“He is a fearless batter… He will go a long way,” Ojha affirmed, expressing confidence in the youngster’s potential to score big in future matches.
