New Zealand left-arm pacer Trent Boult reached the milestone of taking 300 Test wickets. The left-arm seamer achieved this marvelous milestone on the Day 2 of the ongoing second Test against Bangladesh at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch.
On Day 2 of the ongoing Test, Boult added the wickets of the Bangladesh batsman- Shadman Islam, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Liton Das, and Mehidy Hasan into his tally, and the dismissal of Mehidy was his 300th wicket in Test cricket. At stumps, Boult ended with the figures 5/43, completing his 9th five-wicket haul in Tests. Achieving 300 test wickets with a five-wicket haul was the cherry on the cake for the New Zealander.
Boult is the fourth New Zealander to achieve the milestone of 300 Test wickets that too in his 75th test. Sir Richard Hadlee, Daniel Vettori, and Tim Southee had registered 300 Test wickets for the Black Caps.
1)- Sir Richard Hadlee
Richard Hadlee is the fastest to take 300 wickets for the Blackcaps in just 61 matches and is regarded as one of the greatest all-rounders in cricket history.

Tim Southee, who forms a deadly duo along with Trent Boult for New Zealand took just one more catch than his fellow mate to complete this milestone last month against Pakistan.
