The four-match Test series will start from February 9 between India and Australia, the world’s two strongest teams. The fans are eagerly waiting for this test series as there are always tough matches played between the two teams. Many cricket pundits have been seen giving their opinion regarding this series.

Former Indian team head coach Ravi Shastri has also predicted for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Shastri said that the Indian team has covered all its territory for the home series and will dominate the visiting team from the very first match.

Talking to the broadcaster channel, Shastri said, ‘As far as the result of the series is concerned, I think the Indian team will win this series 2-0.’

The former Indian head coach said, ‘You are playing at home. You have bowlers accordingly. You have got a great batting line-up. I think you can put pressure on the opposition from the very first test.’ Recall that during the tenure of Ravi Shastri, India has defeated Australia twice in the Test series at its home. First India beat Australia at home in 2018/19.

After this, the series of 2020/21 can hardly be forgotten by any cricket fan. Many of India’s star players could not play in different matches of the series due to injury, but despite this, Team India was successful in winning the series.

However, this time under the guidance of Rahul Dravid, the Indian team will go into the series with an eye on reaching the final of the World Test Championship.

Australia has been on top of the WTC points table this year with a stellar performance. The Australian team led by Pat Cummins would like to put up a strong performance in the upcoming series. However, the visiting team has suffered a setback before the start of the series. Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood are out of the first test match.
